  Empowering women by increasing their dating odds The Matchmaking Circle is an exclusive social club for women focusing on friendship, fun & the joys of being single while searching for a special man It provides a positive and cooperative environment that enriches women’s lives through education on dating trends and matchmaking for each other and social activities. Play Video The concept for the Matchmaking Circle grew out of a desire by two Certified Matchmakers, Susie Hardesty and Elizabeth Cobey-Piper, to help successful, professional women ages 35 and over who have difficulty making successful matches on their own. After meeting numerous potential clients who were bright, attractive and successful but found it challenging to meet eligible men, Susie and Elizabeth were at their wit’s end on how to help these women who had everything going for them but a satisfying personal life. While reading the insightful book Why Men Marry Some Women and Not Others by John T. Malloy, Susie and Elizabeth came across this revealing fact: 90 percent of women who marry say that they have at least 7 single female friends who are willing to help them meet men. Through countless brainstorming sessions, Susie and Elizabeth came up with the idea of the Matchmaking Circle. "When people are proactive and intentional," Elizabeth says, "amazing thing can happen." The Matchmaking Circle provides a much-needed outlet for women to share their experiences and hopes for the future. "It worked out better than we hoped," Susie says of the Matchmaking Circle. "We were training women to be matchmakers. It started to bring us leads. We were in contact with our clients. We see them every month. We have rapport with our women, people we could easily call." The Matchmaking Circle not only generates leads for their own business, it engenders client loyalty. "The women get to know us and trust us," Elizabeth says, "some of them also become matchmaking clients."  "As a small business with little to no marketing dollars, it made all the difference," says Susie. "We had another product to sell with a very low stress factor." Within a year, over half of the women in the Matchmaking Circle are involved in a fulfilling relationship. Quite simply, "it works," says Elizabeth.
