 The Founders  Lisa Clampitt, CMM, CSWLisa Clampitt is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Matchmaking Institute, a professional matchmaker and a New York State Certified Social Worker for over 15 years. She was educated at New York University, receiving a BA in Dramatic Literature, and received her graduate degree, a Masters in Social Work, from the University of Michigan. Lisa has many years of experience in individual and couples counseling as well as relationship and date coaching and has owned her own very successful matchmaking company, VIP Life, for over 6 years. With this experience and her extensive knowledge of the matchmaking industry under her belt, she went on to create the Matchmaking Institute in order to train and certify others, establishing a strict code of ethics in this important industry. Lisa is consistently sought after as a matchmaking and relationship expert and has had extensive international press coverage. Jerome Chasques Jerome Chasques is the co-founder of the Matchmaking Institute. He also runs a publishing company in New York City and has successfully managed four different businesses over the last 15 years. He holds a Master's Degree in Business & Finance from Institute d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and a Master’s Degree in Business Law. The new concept he created in 2002, Dinner in the Dark, has been featured in many publications both nationwide and worldwide. Prior to founding the Matchmaking Institute, Jerome produced educational and cultural programs on CD-ROMs and DVDs in Europe, including the award-winning "The Louvre Museum" title. In 1998, Jerome founded "Mr. Cinema", an entertainment news portal, later acquired by Liberty Surf Group, a subsidiary of Bernard Arnault’s fashion group LVMH. Jerome loves connecting people together and always brings innovative products and concepts on the market. Jerome is married and lives in New York City, he and his wife Nathalie just celebrated their 10 year anniversary. |
