Lisa Clampitt, CSW, is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Matchmaking Institute, a professional matchmaker and a New York State Certified Social Worker for over 13 years. She was educated at New York University, receiving a BA in Dramatic Literature, and received her graduate degree, a Masters in Social Work, from the University of Michigan. Lisa has years of experience in individual and couples counseling as well as relationship and date coaching. Lisa has worked for two professional matchmaking services as the National and East Coast Director, opening Manhattan offices for both before creating her own matchmaking service, VIP Life. With this extensive experience and knowledge of the matchmaking industry under her belt, she went on to create the Matchmaking Institute in order to train and certify others in this important industry. Lisa has been featured on The O'Reilly Factor, Fox's Studio B, Fox News Live, WNBC's Today in New York, Fuji TV and also in Cosmopolitan Magazine as the "relationship expert", Successful Meetings, and Salon.com (who's story was picked up by AP and reprinted in publications around the world) Lisa has also been a consultant for the Sally Jessy Raphael and Ananda Lewis shows. Jerome A. Chasques Jerome Chasques is the co-founder of the Matchmaking Institute. He also runs a publishing company in New York City. The new concept he created in 2002, Dinner in the Dark, has been featured on CNN, ABC News, Inside Edition, the Washington Post and many other publications. Prior to founding the Matchmaking Institute, Jerome produced and published educational and cultural programs on CD-ROMs and DVD for 5 years in Europe, such as "The Louvre Museum" (over 300,000 copies sold) and received 2 MILIA Awards at the Cannes Festival in 1996 and 1997 for best cultural CD-ROM of the year. He also licensed sports, video and book publishing rights. In 1998, Jerome founded "Mr. Cinema", an entertainment news portal, later acquired by Liberty Surf Group, a subsidiary of Bernard Arnault's fashion group LVMH. Jerome is a frequent speaker at entertainment and interactive publishing events. He holds a Master's Degree in Business & Finance from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and a Master's Degree in Business Law from the University of Paris X. Jerome had also the opportunity to study international constitutional law at Harvard University. Jerome loves connecting people together and bringing new products and concepts on the market. Charlee Brotherton Charlee Brotherton is a CPA, a Matchmaker of Brotherton & Associates Introductions, Inc., owner and CEO of the Singles Station, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has been in the matchmaking business for over seven years. She acquired The Singles Station Dating Co. in January 2000 and has expanded the service to include six offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Bentonville, Fort Smith, Little Rock and Nashville. She personally matches clients as well as manages the introductions for thousands of singles through The Singles Station Dating Co. When she was first introduced to the matchmaking/dating service concept she loved the idea. Being a Certified Public Accountant, she has a quantitative, logical thought process. For her it made perfect sense to take an organized approach to meet the person you would spend the rest of your life with. Most singles employ a haphazard approach to meeting singles. Singles spend more time thinking about the features they want on a new car, than the attributes that they are looking for in a life long mate. Picking the right mate is the most important decision you will ever make. Anne Teachworth Anne Teachworth founded the Gestalt Institute of New Orleans/New York in 1977. She has since maintained a private practice in New Orleans and New York specializing in couple and parenting counseling. In 1981, she began teaching The Flirting Class for singles and in 1987, she and Richard Bandler , co-developer of NLP, made a video, The Art of Flirtation, which became famous in the Neurolinguistic Programming community and started the flirting craze. She has taught The Flirting Classes all over the US. In 1997, Anne's book, Why We Pick The Mates We Do, was published. In the book, is her amazingly accurate Selection Test which in 10 questions is able to predict the success or failure of a potential relationship with a new partner. Now, after over 30yrs as a couples counselor, Anne Teachworth has entered the matchmaking field in order to advise clients on their best mate choices BEFORE they get involved with someone new rather than just seeing these clients in her counseling practice AFTER they have realized they might have made another mistake. In effect, Anne brings to her Matchmaking Service her extensive expertise and experience in the relationship field from selection to solution. She suggests that clients don't just get involved in their next relationship, but instead that they get evolved. Her aim is for her clients to "live happily ever after" and "make all their dreams come true." Joe Nunziata Joe Nunziata is an internationally known speaker and author. He has been delivering his life changing message at events and seminars since 1992. Joe has been working in the areas of personal development and human potential for over 25 years. His unique blend of psychology, philosophy, spirituality and the power of energy results in revolutionary new programs and seminars. Although he is primarily known as a sales and marketing expert, Joe has always recognized the importance of working from within. He teaches that to be truly successful, you must make powerful changes and break destructive patterns of behavior. These unconscious patterns are at the core of his new "No More Mental Barriers" program. Joe’s first book, "No More 9 to 5", empowered people to follow their dreams and start a business. This new sales philosophy is being embraced by many people in today’s business community. In 1992, Joe founded Top Notch Training as a personal development company. Today, Top Notch Training offers consulting, training, public seminars and products on business and personal growth. Joe is available for both public and private engagements by appointment only. Joe has appeared on television including Good Day New York on Fox, plus various radio stations including KFNN, Phoenix, AZ, KTHO, Sacramento, CA, KCEO, San Diego, CA, KLMO, Denver, CO, WXCT, Hartford, CT, WPLC, Washington, DC, WOKB, Orlando, FL and many others. Rob Anderson Rob Anderson is the Director of Club Elite, an exclusive matchmaking service located in New York City for professional gay men looking for long term relationships. He graduated from The Nash Academy of Animal Arts, and worked as a professional dog groomer for 15 years. An entrepreneur, Rob developed his own business "Dog's Best Friend", but then switched from pets to people. Rob is one of the first Matchmakers Certified by the Matchmaking Institute and the only Gay Certified Matchmaker in the world. As a gay man born and raised in NYC he has seen the first hand struggles that single gay guys go through when searching for that special person. This was motivation to become more involved in his community by bringing romance and the possibility of relationships to the lives of professional gay men. Beth Schoenfeldt Beth, co-founder of FLOinc., is highly trained to work with successful men and women who want to breakthrough unsatisfactory patterns and expand the pleasure and effectiveness in their lives. Beth has received critical attention from Vogue, Elle and New York magazine as a powerful force in helping people make transitions, attract the opposite sex, shift organizational culture and design lifestyles that truly reflect an individual's or company's desires and goals. Guidance in the areas of marriage, money and family are one reason her private client list grows daily. The result-oriented programs have proven to be wildly successful in changing habits and realizing lifelong dreams. In addition to coaching private clients, Beth has trained extensively with Regena Thomashauer, founder of Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts, and often studied with sensual coaches Steve and Vera Bodansky. Prior to opening the doors to FLOinc, Beth developed Marketing and Sales programs for such organizations as Clinique, ibeauty.com and American Express. Beth is a graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelors Degree in Finance and an MBA from Columbia University. Steven Sacks, Author Steven Sacks is a relationship coach, speaker, and author on the topic of dating and relationships, with a particular focus on mate selection. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business (BS - SUNY-Buffalo, MBA - Fordham University) which have provided him with outstanding skills in the areas of strategy, process improvement, and most importantly, decision making. Through his journey he created the Mate Map-an unprecedented technique for selecting the right mate. Sacks has been featured in such publications as the Chicago Tribune, Houston Chronicle, New York Post, Seventeen, and In Touch Weekly. His book, The Mate Map - The Right Tool for Choosing the Right Mate is available online and at bookstores everywhere. Sacks splits his time between his hometown of New York City and Durham, North Carolina, with his girlfriend - the first Mate Map success story. Jill Weaver Jill Weaver is the owner and executive administrator of the largest introduction service of South Central PA, MatchMaker International. With a client base in the hundreds, her MMI franchise is one of the oldest and most respected introduction services in the region. Today, Jill spends much of her business time focused on her newest offering The Absolute Guarantee, an original program affording clients individualized matchmaking services. During her 8 year directorship, Jill has brought over 1200 singles together and has tripled her multi-county client base. Her expertise is derived from a decade of relationship coaching, with a concentration in the areas of single parenting, motherless daughters (founded a local chapter), and domestic violence. Jill has been interviewed by Diane O'day, for her televised special, Behind the Scenes and has recently been published in Lancaster's WE - Women Executives, and the Harrisburg Magazine. Her company has contributed and appeared in numerous periodicals on the art and science of matchmaking. Jill attended Clarion University and the Penn State University, in pursuit of her social work/psychology studies. As a single parent of three pre-teens, Jill has published a children's book, uses her graphic artist skills in charity and business pursuits and finds time be an avid runner. Kathy Gantz, LCSW Kathy Gantz is a licensed psychotherapist and certified hypnotherapist with 20 years of accomplishments helping thousands of people produce extraordinary results in their lives. She has conducted hypnosis workshops, seminars, and individual sessions for Fortune 500 companies. Her private practice specializes in individuals, couples and groups, using a mind-body approach to improve your physical and emotional well-being. She employs an innovative combination of therapeutic counseling, hypnosis, relaxation techniques and imagery training. Ms. Gantz has an M.S.W. in Industrial Social Work and Psychology from Hunter College and a B.S. in Psychology from Skidmore College. She is a member of the New York Society of Eriksonian Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and is an expert on the psychology of habit development. Licensed in New York State in Social Work, she is a workshop presenter for international corporations, a consultant at the Juva Medical Spa and the Beth Israel Hospital for Health and Healing, a company spokesperson for GlaxoSmithKline, and a smoking cessation and hypnosis leader for the American Cancer Society. |
